End of School Year End Ries appears as the title of DepED Order No. 06 s. 2018 dated February 15, 2018. It states the guidelines for the conduct of graduation exercises, School Year 2017-2018 that should be conducted from April 2-6, 2018 with a theme: "MAG-AARAL NG K TO 12: HANDA SA HAMON NG BUHAY".
Paragraph 2 of DepED Order No. 06 s. 2018 likes every school or division to translate it to Mother Tongue. The solemn ceremony should focus on the above-mentioned theme of the graduation of moving up for Kindergarten and Grade 10.
Paragraph 5 (For Public Schools Only) did not mention any allowable collection from the candidates for graduation for graduation expenses rather school MOOE or local funds should be responsible for the financial preparation and conduct of the graduation. Specifically, collection from any DepED personnel would be prohibited by this DepED Order No. 06. Likewise, voluntary donation from the parents was no longer mentioned.
Paragraph 6 prescribes the correct format of Certificate and Diploma for the completers, that can found in the last page or enclosure of DepED Order No. 06 s. 2018.
Paragraph 7 sustained the utilization of the DepED Order No. 36 s. 2016 as the reference for the awarding of honors.
