Temporary relocation of this school almost
became permanent inside the campus of Panglima Ahajan Elementary School. It
lasted more than a decade ago. Barangay Karawan where the school donated site
located is prone to the battlefield between the government troops and the
rebels. Likewise, family grudge among the neighboring barangays remain
unsettled. It could be the reasons why the school head decided to pull Cmdr.
Bara Jalaidi Primary School to its main campus.
It is named after the known MNLF commander
residing in Karawan, Indanan, Sulu. The school site is almost in the center of
Barangay Karawan. 2-classroom school building was constructed in year 2000
during the time of the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Hja. Amy U. Malbun,
CESO. Both teachers and learners left the school building unconditionally
because of the abnormal peace and order circumstances in Karawan. The teachers
could hardly remember the school site after they abandoned it.
Change of leadership happened just last
May 31, 2016. PSDS Moore installed Nagdar U. Sasapan as TIC to head Panglima
Misuari Primary School. He also annexed Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Primary School to
the leadership of the newly-installed TIC for supervisionwise. He instructed
the TIC and his teacher, Marjin J. Madjirul to bring the school back to its
original school site so that geo-tagging report could be made. During Brigada
Eskwela 2016, both tried to look for the landmark of the school. They spent
much time in searching for the site before they found it. Civilians helped them
discover the school site.
The TIC and Cmdr. H-man were so compatible in working for the rapid change of their school. After one year, they elevated the school from primary into complete elementary status. Abundant photos of awesome improvement they made in the school can be gleaned in Facebook and Blogger.
