Honey Conducts Ocular Inspection Over the Needs of Pasil ES

In 2007, Rohaniza "Honey" Sumdad visited Pasil Elementary School with the knowledge of Prof. Albert M. Santoli. She was Prof's Assistant in the Philippines. She came to Pasil ES purposely to conduct ocular inspection over the possible needs of the school where Asia America Initiative could possibly assist her for the sake of school children.

Honey chanced to see Pasil Elementary School again when the school started the construction of the school panel around the perimeter of more than two hectares officially donated for the school site long time ago. She appreciated much the initiative of Sulu-1st District Representative, Hji. Husop H. Jikiri for building the fence panel of the school area in a concrete form. Hja. Kharija "Didang" D. Jikiri, the first lady of the congressman welcomed Honey and her party from Jolo and other school officials of Indanan South District warmly. The PTA officers of Pasil Elementary School escorted Honey to do the room-to-room inspection. She found out that school repair and seating facilities should be one of those priorities. She promised the community that Prof would be ready to ship cartoons of books from USA intended only for Pasil ES. Abundant educational supplies and assistance would be coming from AAI those days. It was ready for shipment. Unluckily, kidnapping foreigners became rampant in the archipelago. So, the Provincial Government of Sulu banned the entry of foreign visitors to enter Sulu. As a result of it, communication and visit of AAI was lost.
