Changes in ISD Begin in 2005

Indanan South District started her change in May, 2005. Consolidated reports to division office was no longer typewritten. Instead, ISD was first in DepED-Sulu to submit computerized reports. In-Charge of the District, Hji. Masihul S. Sajili, Principal I designated Samoore S. Ladjahali, Grade 6-B Adviser of Panglima Indanan Central School as District PESS Coordinator.

Samoore "Moore or Sam" S. Ladjahali brought his Pentium 3 Computer to the district office because being one of the district staff, he had to assist the district head prepare monthly and yearly consolidation reports. He also assisted school heads prepared monthly and yearly reports via computer. He was became motivating factor for every school head to purchase and learn manipulating laptop or computer. His tutor was Abdurasul "Asul" S. Sajili, TIC of Kasambuhan Village Elementary School. Whatever queries he had concerning word document, he used to text Asul in Kasambuhan Village Elem. School at about 4 kilometers away from the district office. Thus, school heads wondered why Moore was a fast learner in computer literacy.

In sports activities, ISD got improving compared to those previous years especially in the organization of athletes, sports units and ball games. The outgoing District PESS Coordinator, Hji. Asaali S. Jadjulie continuously provided Moore assistance and guidance to strategically develop ISD athletic competition starting with the grass roots at the school level specifically in MAPE (Music Arts and Physical Education) subject. Whenever Moore went out of the district office to visit school, he dropped by Timbangan Elementary School where Hji. Asa' was doing school administration and supervision. Moore took over the position because Hji. Asa' was promoted to Elementary School Head Teacher III and he was assigned in the said school.

Those days, only Palan Elementary School was having knowledge for the organization of soccer football athletes. In 2004, ISD was recognized divisionwide in having football players to ARMMAA Meet from Palan Elementary School headed by Abdugafar S. Abdurajad, Principal I. For the intensification of football game which would be competed by all athletic uints, Moore encouraged those big elementary schools to organize football players in preparation for the upcoming Indanan South District Meet in 2005.

Surprisingly, Palan Elemntary School soccer football players were defeated by Pasil Elementary School football players in the ISDM 2005. The neophyte football players were declared champions under Coach Juhnor A. Sanaani, Teacher I of Pasil Elementary School.

Many years ago, Indanan South District was not able to hold ISDM outside or far from Jolo town. Most of the time, Jolo Agricultural School was the usual venue of both academic and ball games competitions. However, change came in instantly. Moore in agreement with District In-Charge and all school administrators courageously conducted ISDM, for the first time outside vicinity of Jolo premises. It was in Panglima Indanan Central School, eleven kilometers away from Jolo. Alhamdulillah, 3-day ISDM ended with harmonious and successful awarding ceremony in the said venue.
