Through the Financial Assistance of Dr. John A. Magno

Before, the district office looked like a jail but now it looks like a real place of instructional leader. It is the DepED-ARMM Secretary, Dr. John A. Magno, the Transformational Leader manifested in the new appearance of the district office. Secretary Magno approved Php 150, 000.00 financial assistance for the renovation of district office as requested by Samoore S. Ladjahali, Public Schools District Supervisor of Indanan South District.

Newly-renovated Indanan North and Indanan South District Office

The district office was a Marcos Type building constructed in Km. 2, Kajatian, Indanan, Sulu as early as 1975. Municipality of Indanan had only one district those days. However,  division of the district into two occurred in 2001 during the leadership of Dr. Amy U. Malbun, CESO Schools Division Superintendent of Sulu Division who also designated Siladjan J. Jamiri as Principal In-Charge of Indanan District. In that year, Indanan North District came to life under the supervision of the newly-installed Principal In-Charge, Ibnoraji S. Hajiri. Mother District of Indanan remained in the name of Indanan South District.

DepED-ARMM Secretary caused the official establishment of Indanan North and Indanan South District Office. It is very significant for both offices to deserve for VS (Very Satisfactory) Rating that shall be given by Division Office. In 2006, the Division Office sent a team to the different districts purposely to rate every district supervisor's office. Division team revealed that they could not give VS rating to Indanan North and Indanan South Districts in a sense that each of it had no individual district office. Share office is not recommendable. Alhamdulillah with the assistance of Dr. John A. Magno, both offices appeared on these photos.

As Mother District, PSDS Samoore S. Ladjahali generously gave the portion of the office where there are already restroom and gate for Indanan North District. Similarly, Indanan North District has no sari-sari store at the facade of the office. Unlike Indanan South District, a sari-sari store stood in front of the office. ISD PSDS hopes the Secretary will still help him construct gate and male-female restroom beside the office. Likewise, the PSDS dreams of his inner office to appear like in the photo below.
