Organization of SPG-PTA District Federation

Indanan South District organizes the District Federation of Supreme Pupil Government and Parent-Teacher Association every year in compliance with the DepED mandate. DepED-Sulu Division requires eveery district to submit the list of officers in preparation for the organization in the division level. It continuously come to life since 2012 when Sir Sam began assume office as DIC of Indanan South District.

This year's organization occurred in the absence of Sir Moore who was in Tanza Oasis Hotel and Resort for the 10-day Workrshop on Harvesting of Materials, TG, LM, Primer and Matrix for Karitun Klasrum. Sir Faisal A. Kadil, Head Teacher III of Pasil Elementary School and Caretaker of the District for and in the absence of PSDS managed the organization with the full supports of 15 school administrators. Timbangan Elementary School headed by Ma'am Masdida M. Sarabi is the usual venue of the organization. The strategy for the election of District PTA Federation Officers is based on DepED Order No. 54 s. 2009.

Elected Campus PTA Presidents of the 18 schools were gathered in one venue. First step of the votation was to identify at least 15 Members of the Board of Directors. Number of BOD would vary depending on the size of the district so long as it would be odd number. The purpose of using odd number would be to avoid tie in case votation would happen among themselves. After selection of the members of the Board of Director, election for the executive officers would follow. It would be the following positions:

1. President
2. Vice President
3. Secretary 
4. Treasurer
5. Auditor
6. Public Information Officer of Public Relation Officer
7. Other equivalent positions to oversee the day-to-day activities of the association

Among the committees that may be formed to handle specific activities of the PTA are: a) Committee on Finance; b) Committee on Programs and Projects; c) Audit Committee; d) Election Committee; e) Grievance Committee; f) Ways and Means Committee; and g) Committee on External and Community Affairs.The heads of the committees shall preferably come from the Board of Directors, Homeroom Presidents and Homeroom Advisers.

Supreme Pupil Government has the following officers:

2. Vice Mayor
3. Secretary
4. Treasurer
5. Auditor
6. Public Information Officer
7. Peace Officer
8. Councilors
