DepED-Sulu Proclaims Anariza J. Hussam as Champion in the Division Search for Most Outstanding Teachers 2017

The search started since September 25-27 to screen the district nominees for the different criteria such as documentation (40%), written examination (20%), panel interview (20%) and demo teaching (20%). Out of 25 districts and more than 20 secondary schools in Sulu, only 8 districts and 1 secondary school participated in the Division Search for Most Outstanding Teachers 2017 held at DepED Conference Hall, Jolo, Sulu.

The declaration for the winners happened today, October 2, 2017 at around 8:30 AM. It was in the same venue where the 3-day screening was conducted by the Division Panel mostly composed of the different Education Program Supervisors of DepED-Sulu.

Finally, Anariza "Rhiz" J. Hussam of Indanan South District nominee received the most applauded congratulations for being the Champion in the Division Search for Most Outstanding Teachers 2017. She is Teacher II and Grade 6 Adviser in Panglima Indanan Central School headed by TIC, Andrada M. Asid. Jolo 3 nominee got 1st Runner Up; Jolo 4 nominee was pronounced 2nd Runner Up;  Jolo 1 nominee was declared 3rd Runner Up; and 4th Runner Up was given to Pangutaran National High School nominee.

From the very beginning of the search, the public schools district supervisors and school heads of the district and secondary school candidates were officially invited to escort their respective nominees. Likewise, those mentioned-school officials were again required to witness the proclamation of winners for Division Search for Most Outstanding Teachers 2017.
