LAWANAN: ISDM 2017 Theme: "SUCCESS THRU TRAINING AND PRACTICE"

Indanan South District Meet 2017 conducted in Pasil Elementary School Playground from October 10-12, 2017 was participated by 5 sports competing units, namely: 1. Unit I composed of Pasil ES, Sapah Malawm ES, Cmdr. Jalaidi ES, Panglima Misuari Primary School and Sapie PS; 2. Unit II composed of Panglima Ahajan ES, Poblacion ES and Manilop ES; 3. Unit III composed of Panglima Indanan CS, Palan ES and Bunot ES; 4. Unit IV composed of Timbangan ES, Langpas ES, Mukammali ES and Dayuan ES & Annex; and 5. Unit V composed of Kasambuhan Village ES and Panglima Mammah ES. It started with a kick-off parade from Panglima Misuari PS to Pasil ES which is about a kilometer away from the assembly area. Only Indanan National High School - Licup Main Campus was able to join the 3-day Palaro of ISD due to the synchronized conduct of National Achievement Test.

PSDS Moore constructed the theme: "SUCCESS THRU TRAINING AND PRACTICE" purposely to follow the rules and regulations of the competitions in both academic/literary and sports contests wherein every coach, chaperon, technical officials, tournament manager and many other sports officials, mentors, supporters and sports organizers would be fully aware the qualifications, ruling of the games, techniques and strategies for constantly putting into actions those skills and knowledge for better selection of the qualified best athletes for the next-level competitions especially the forthcoming Sulu Provincial Athletic Association Meet 2017 on November 05-11, 2017. He, the Public Schools District Supervisor strictly imposed the 'No-NSO-no-play Policy' since 3 years ago. Despite this hardship for the participating sports units, Committee on Screening still faced many sports entries for the different sports events like children basketball, children baseball, children soccer football, volleyball boys and girls, badminton boys and girls, table tennis boys and girls, sepak takraw, chess and athletics.

In the morning of the 12th day of October, 2017, awarding of medals, trophies and other prizes for both academic and literary contests occurred. 3rd Runner Up was received by Unit 3; 2nd Runner Up went to Unit 2, 1st Runner Up was chanced by Unit 1 and the Over-all Champion for ISD Meet 2017 was awarded to Unit 4.
