2nd Joint World Teachers' Day Celebration of Indanan NHS and ISD


Indanan National High School led by Principal, Tony K. Asanji and Indanan South District headed by Samoore S. Ladjahali, Public Schools District Supervisor unanimously agreed to have again a joint commemoration of World Teachers' Day at Timbangan Elementary School Multi-purpose Gym last October 5, 2017. It was started last 2015 and it did not happen in 2016 because time constraint for both school and district heads to consult each other.

3 campuses composed the Indanan National High School, Licup Main, Timbangan Annex and Pasil Annex. Indanan South District had 18 schools with 15 elementary and 3 primary schools. It is, namely: 1. Kasambuhan Village Elementary School; 2. Panglima Mammah Elementary School; 3. Timbangan Elementary School; 4. Palan Elementary School; 5. Dayuan Elementary School; 6. Lugmah Primary School; 7. Bunot Elementary School; 8 Panglima Indanan Central School; 9. Poblacion Elementary School; 10. Mukammali Elementary School; 11. Langpas Elementary School; 12. Manilop  Elementary School; 13. Panglima Ahajan Elementary School; 14. Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Elementary School; 15. Panglima Misuari Primary School; 16. Pasil Elementary School; 17. Sapah Malawm Elementary School; and 18. Sapie Primary School. There were more hundred personnel from ISD culminated World Teachers' Day.

Every school from both elementary and secondary levels presented entertaining numbers in the program. Students from high school delivered messages honoring teachers. Parents and students from Sapie Primary School also showed their thankfulness to teachers by way of a song and modern dance.

Barangay officials specifically Hja. Monalyn Askali from Bunot, Indanan, Sulu gave certificate of appreciation to her teachers in Bunot Elementary Schools. Jennasir Sali representing Indanan Municipal Mayor delivered speech relative to the significance of teachers in the society.

Prof. Albert M. Santoli, President of Asia America Initiative sent video message thru his AAI Coordinator, Sharifa Mharrojheanne A. Alih who presented the video message on the projector. AAI President also sent bouquet of roses for every personnel of both elementary and secondary personnel during the celebration.

Supersam issued certificate of appreciation to those deserving teachers before he took the microphone for his closing remarks. The Secondary School Principal distributed also certificates to his deserving teachers.

The organizers of the World Teachers' Day Commemoration were the ISD Classroom Teachers Association officers. It was they who designed the program with parlor games involving the school administrators and even the district head. Prof. Albert M. Santoli was the providers of the different prizes.
