Last January 11, 2018, Mukammli Elementary School headed by Melda I. Adug conducted practicum for the students, parents and teachers how to cover themselves whenever gunfight again would happen in the nearby school like what they experienced last November 19, 2017 that made disruption of their classes until January 5, 2018.
This type of instructions and practicum was first to happen in Indanan South District Schools, There were many incidence happened in Indanan District schools before but teachers were not trained and oriented with this kind of activities except when gunfight occurred among residents of Langpas Elementary School and Mukammali Elementary School, who resided in the same Barangay of Langpas, Indanan, Sulu. It came to light with the advent of Esquierdo Jumadain, DepED-Sulu Division DRRMC Coordinator.
