ISD Attends the 2-Day Regional ICT Summit

Indanan South District was one of the districts in DepED-Sulu Division that attended the 2-Day Regional ICT Summit conducted at Em Manor Hotel, Cotabato City from February 19-20, 2018. Two ISD personnel or school officials were in the summit. They were Samoore S. Ladjahali, Public Schools District Supervisor and Melda I. Adug, Head Teacher III of Mukammali Elementary School.

The last date of departure of the participants from Jolo was on February 17, 2018. Some of the participants particularly the PSDS of Indanan South District left for Zamboanga City ahead of time. Supermoore arrived Zamboanga City in the morning of Saturday, February 17, 2018. All of the DepED-Sulu ICT participants met one another at Amigo Restaurant, Canelar, Zamboanga City in the morning of Sunday. It was there where they proceeded to Cotabato City in the two vans via Ipil and Pagadian City.

Dr. Saudi A. Janang, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent spearheaded the team to ICT summit. The team was composed of ASDS, education program supervisor, division ICT coordinator, public schools district supervisors, elementary and secondary principals, and school ICT coordinators

The 2-Day Regional ICT Summit looked colorful because of the different booths constructed by the entire divisions of DepED-ARMM, namely: 1. Sulu; 2. Tawi-Tawi; 3. Basilan; 4. Lamitan; 5. Marawi City; 6. Lanao Sur I; 7. Lanao Sur II; 8. Maguindanao I;  and 9. Maguindanao II Sir Boy Gonzales of CSC delivered inspirational message during the opening program though the DepED-Secretary was not around due to his presence in a very special engagement in Davao City.
