History of Indanan South District Heads

ISD (Indanan South District) is the Mother District of Indanan Municipality before division into Indanan North District and Indanan South District occurred in 2001. In the province of Sulu Archipelago, Indanan was first to embrace American education in Sulu after Japanese invasion in the Philippine Islands.

Right after the outbreak of Martial Law on September 21, 1972, office of the district supervisor was formally established in Km. 2, Kajatian, Indanan, Sulu. Accordingly, photo below portraits those great educators who run Indanan District or Indanan South District. From left to right in the hereunder-posted picture, they are: 1. Mandangan Paradji; 2.
