The Sariling Sikap Loan Program
started in 1987 under the leadership of Mr. Jaime Laya which was appointed by
the then Secretary of Education Lourdes Quisumbing. SSL Program is the
offshoot program from the Mutual Financial Assistance Service or MFAS. Starting
from P2,500, the highest loanable amount is now P300,000
