Brigada Eskwela Grant was discussed in
Grand Regal Hotel, Davao City last April 22, 2016 by the selected district
heads, school heads and DSLP graduates of SEAMEO-Innotech of the DepED-ARMM
with the presence of Asec for Academics, Marjuni Maddi and Ma'am Ina Aquino of
the BEAM. Slots were supposedly good for 181 schools regionwide amounting to P
30,000.00 for every recipient. School head who was in attendance in the
training workshop would be automatically a recipient and the district head
would recommend 1 school for the BE Grant.

The PSDS thought that it would be directly downloaded to the passbook of Langpas Elementary School and Pasil Elementary School so that both schools could really purchase for those itemized materials that would surely needed for the maintenance of the schools. Langpas Elementary School is certainly in need of repair for the windows, ceiling, and fencing of the perimeter of the school. Cans of paint are so much necessary for the wall of the school building and classrooms to shine. In the case of Pasil Elementary School for instance, cans of paint are less necessary for the inner and outer walls of the classroom but door knobs, repair of windows and desks and bamboo fence in front of every classroom are so needed.
The total land area of the donated school site for Pasil Elementary is more than 2 hectares. The school personnel could hardly maintain the cleanliness especially in the normalization of the rapidly-growing grass over the fabulous playground. Yes, brush cutter and lawn mower are available in Pasil Elementary School that was donated by Atty. Jamar M. Kulayan, former DepED-ARMM Secretary while the other grass cutter was given by the IMSB (Indanan Municipal School Board).
Pasil Elementary School needs cash Brigada Eskwela Grant in so far as purchase of petroleum or gasoline for the brush cutter and lawn mower is definitely concerned. This school has no monthly MOOE (Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses). Likewise, there is no nationally-funded janitor of the school except the local community member hired by the PTA (Parent-Teacher's Association).
