In consultation with PSDS Moore, Federation of CTA (Classroom Teacher's Association) officers in ISD came up with unanimous decision for the purchase of 40 x 40 Barbossa tiles for the garage of ISD Office as their counterpart in the district office renovation firstly initiated by the Honorable Secretary of DepED-ARMM, Dr. John A. Magno. School heads, classroom teachers, school nurses, non-teaching personnel and some volunteer teachers sincerely showed their generosity by remitting their financial contribution to the Treasurer of the CTA Federation led by President Alnasvier I. Abduljalil, Grade 3 Adviser of Bunot Elementary School. Afterwards, the total collection was remitted to Sharifa Mharrojheanne A. Alih, ISD AAI/ICT Coordinator.
PSDS Moore agreed to shoulder the labor and construction materials aside from pieces of tiles. Hon. Malli M. Kadil, former Councilor of Indanan donated ten sacks of cement and P 3, 000.00; Mrs. Kauzar I. Jawang, TIC of Manilop Elementary School donated thirty sacks of gravel separate from her cash financial contribution; Sharifa Mharrojheanne A. Alih donated P 500.00; and Faisal A. Kadil, Head Teacher 3 of Pasil Elementary School and his teachers donated two sacks of cement, two pieces of 10 mm corrugated steel bars and P 500.00.
This construction was the second tangible project of the CTA Federation after their first project, construction of ISD Booth in the Joint 111th Indanan Anniversary and DepED-Indanan Palaro 2016 at Pasil Elementary School Campus from November 21-23, 2016. The construction; however; became two phases accidentally. Phase I put up only 106 pieces of tiles because of wrongly-purchased size of tiles. PSDS Moore thought the tiles were 60 x 60 cm but then it was only 40 x 40 cm. So, it did not even filled up the half space of the garage shown in the above-displayed photo.
The Phase II of construction needed 129 pieces of tiles with the same size and brand. It cost P 62.00 per tile procured from Tile Depot, Guiwan, Zamboanga City and Chief (Carpenter) charged P 27.00 per tile. Tile Depot charged the delivery to PSDS Moore. It worth more than a thousand pesos from the store to the Aleson boat until Jolo Port. The boxes of tiles would arrive Jolo with no longer additional payment except the labor for the unloading and loading in a half-mask tamaraw from Jolo Wharf to ISD Office, Km. 2, Kajatian, Indanan, Sulu. Tile Depot used to shipped the boxes of tiles via M/V Kristen Jane 3 which is having enough space for cargoes.
PSDS Moore would also thank Faijal I. Andan, TIC of Sapah Malawm Elementary School and Annex, Faisal A. Kadil, Head Teacher 3 of Pasil Elementary School, Naser L. Assil, ISD Property Custodian, Sharifa Mharrojheanne A. Alih, ISD ICT Coordinators and those who are in one way or the other that voluntarily made some efforts in the facilitation of the arrival of tiles to the ISD Office as well as the construction.
Other donors in Phase 2 were Dr. Hja. Sarah Y. Hayudini, Principal 1 of Palan Elementary School donated P 1, 000.00 and Ms. Darchona E. Sauddin, Principal 1 of Bwansa Elementary School, Indanan North District donated cash worth five pieces of tiles.
PSDS Moore committed to have a Cutting of Ribbon with CTA Federation once the construction would be completed. In other words, formal Turn-over and Acceptance of the tangible project should highlight the completion.
