In preparation for Sulu
Provincial Athletic Association Meet (SPAAM) 2017, the Indanan South District
conducted 5-day training for the athletes in volleyball girls, soccer football,
lawn tennis boys and girls and badminton boys and girls in the school
playground where most of the athletes in said sports events come from. The
training started on October 31 to November 4, 2017. The trainers in volleyball
girls were Nagdar U. Sasapan, TIC of Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Elementary School and
Annex and Naser L. Assil, District Property Custodian; Hji. Murphy B. Immid was
in soccer football; Jurmainna H. Hunding, Head Teacher III of Bunot Elementary
School was in badminton boys and girls assisted by Alyasir A. Hussam, TIC of
Poblacion Elementary School; and Hamir P. Halid, Teacher I of Kasambuhan
Village Elementary School was in lawn tennis boys and girls.
It was first time of ISD to conduct this kind of training since many years ago. Hindrance to it was the absence of funds except to solicit from external stakeholders and ask contribution from personnel of the district.
