On the 7th day of August, 2017, 19 school administrators and teachers tighly packed themselves in a hired van from Zamboanga City to Cotabato City purposely to witness the confirmation ceremony of Dr. John A. Magno, Regional DepED Secretary of the Autonomous Region in Musliim Mindanao. It was spearheaded by their Public Schools District Supervisor, Samoore S. Ladjahali.
On August 9 at around 8:00 o'clock in the evening, Sir Moore agreed with his group to leave Cotabato City for Dakak, Dapitan City where they would proceed to Zamboanga City via Dipolog City, Liloy and Ipil.
