Education and schooling of his children to secondary and tertiary level caused him to establish residence particularly in 'Makati' Housing Project, Tanjung Road, Kajatian, Indanan, Sulu but Hji. Amin A. Basirul was a native of Barangay Jati Tunggal but presently residing in Barangay Licup fronting Panglima Indanan Central School headed by Andrada M. Asid, TIC. His residence resulted to his win the presidency in Parent-Teacher's Association of Panglima Indanan Cenral School in 2014.

As practiced, PTA organization is conducted in every school fifteen days from the first day of classes. All presidents and vice presidents elected in homeroom PTA are gathered together for Campus PTA Election. In same manner, the Public Schools District Supervisor in collaboration  with the school heads and District Committee on Election gathers all the elected campus PTA presidents and vice presidents for the District Federation Election of PTA. Usual venue of the election is GEM Multi-purpose at Timbangan Elementary School headed by TIC, Masdida M. Sarabi. In 2014 election, Hji. Amin won the seat of Vice President of ISD Federation of PTA. It was he who strongly agree to have generator as one of the tangible projects of the PTA Federation and patterned after the brand of his personally-owned generator.

Hji. Amin is an active member of the Philippine Army Integration formerly assigned in the Office of the Sulu Provincial Government. However, their boss recalled every integration army who is on detail to report to their respective unit. His Team Leader assigned him in Jolo proper to assist Jolo PNP maintain the peace and order situation. Though he was always busy with his career, he always met Sir Moore whenever a text message appeared on the screen of his cellular phone.
