Several people congratulated Hon.
Hermot "Moy" D. Jikiri, a man in black t-shirt for being new
Mayor-elect of the Municipality of Indanan after the conduct of May 9, 2016
Synchronized National, Regional and Local Elections. Moy is a brother of
incumbent Mayor, Saripuddin "Eddih" D. Jikiri who ran for Congressman
or Representative for the First District of Sulu last May 9, 2016. Though Eddih
did not win the congressional election, he is still the Municipal Mayor until
June 30, 2016. Moy will assume office after his brother, Eddih will step down
the Municipal Hall on June 30.
PSDS Moore felt delightful after
the official proclamation of Hon. Hermot "Moy" D. Jikiri, Hon. Salip
Allan Nahier S. Jainal and those 8 councilors. He could still hope more support
and partnership in the improvement of municipal education plan in Indanan South
District. He had a very good friendship with Moy when Sir Moore was a Principal
of Pasil Elementary School from 2007 to 2012. That time, Moy was a Barangay
Chairperson of Barangay Pasail. Sir Sam is definitely sure Moy will give more
educational assistance through IMSB (Indanan Municipal School Board) which was
created and revitalized only during the reign of Eddih with a monthly municipal
appropriation at the amount of P 15,000.00 directly deposited in the IMSB
passbook opened in Amanah Bank, Jolo Branch.
