In the advent of two District Coordinators for Boys Scout, Alnasvier I. Abduljal, Teacher I of Bunot Elementary School and Girls Scout Coordinator, Hja. Sandra G. Hedisin, Teacher I of Panglima Indanan Central School, genuine annals of scouting came to light through the research of ISD Boys Scout Coordinator. Salip Bensal A. Buttongah, OIC Sulu Executive Council of Boys Scout of the Philippines narrated substantial details to Alnasvier how scouting started in Bay Puti' (White House) which is now the so-called Poblacion, the heart of Indanan Municipality.
With this account of scouting, Supermoore sat with the two district coordinators planning how the American legacy in ISD be revived among students of 14 elementary schools. Then the two district coordinators brought the plan before the 18 school administrators of Indanan South District where everyone of them agreed for initiation of the 3-Day Joint BSP and GSP District Camporee that should be held at Timbangan Elementary School Campus, Barangay Timbangan, Indanan, Sulu effective January 29-31, 2018.
The first 3-Day District Camporee was fully participated by 165 boys scouts and 226 girls scouts coming from the 14 elementary schools, namely: 1. Bunot Elementary School; 2. Dayuan Elementary School; 3. Kasambuhan Village Elementary School; 4. Langpas Elementary School; 5. Manilop Elementary School; 6. Mukammali Elementary School; 7. Palan Elementary School; 8. Panglima Ahajan Elementary School; 9. Panglima Indanan Central School; 10. Panglima Mammah Elementary School; 11. Pasil Elementary School; 12. Poblacion Elementary School; 13. Sapah Malawm Elementary School; and 14. Timbangan Elementary School. Only Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Elementary School headed by Nagdar U. Sasapan, TIC did not participate in the first revival of American scouting in ISD.
The Day 1 program started with a kick-off parade from sitio Alumusun at about a kilometer away from the venue Timbangan ES Gym where the opening program was conducted in the presence of Indanan Municipal Administrator, Hji. Akmad A. Muksan representing Hon. Mayor, Hji. Hermot D. Jikiri, Salip Bensal A. Buttongah, OIC Sulu BSP Executive Council with his predecessor and father, Helen C. Hajan, GSP Sulu Executive Council, Supersam, PSDS of ISD, Absar Sayadi, representing Barangay Captain of Timbangan, Rush Isnaji, Hja. Alma Tandih and school administrators of ISD.
Salip Buttongah related the history of scouting firstly organized by American soldier in Bay Puti' (White House) in 1913.
Helen appreciated much Indanan South District in firstly organizing the 3-Day District Camporee with a theme: "PRESERVING TAUSUG CULTURE THRU SCOUTING". Her appreciation manifested in the issuance of Certificate of Appreciation to Indanan South District to Public Schools District Supervisor, Samoore S. Ladjahali during the opening program.
Supermoore was tasked to declare the first 3-Day District Camporee. He rather expressed his gratefulness for the presence of LGU Indanan officials, scouting officials and the different school heads and school troop leaders and scout masters for their utmost cooperation in coming up with the revival activity of the American scouting introduced by McCormick Gepigon, American soldier came to Indanan in 1913. As further spoken, he mentioned the forthcoming conduct of Regional Encampment at Ekozone, Zamboanga City on February 7, 2018 and Regional Jamboree at Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay by February 27, 2018. Before he declared the opening of the first 3-Day District Camporee Scouting Activity that would be open for all scouts, he encouraged every BSP and GSP to make strong intention to attend the said Regional Jamboree and Regional Encampment. Many participants raised their hands as sign of their intention to participate in said activity.
Finally, Supersam instructed the scouts to shout the word 'masaya' after him as he would say 'mabuhay' and shout the word 'mabuhay' after him as he would say 'masaya'.
