August 17, 2016, PSDS Sam decided to visit Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Primary School headed by TIC, Nagdar U. Sasapan. It is located in Barangay Karawan, Indanan, Sulu under the able chairmanship of Hon. Aksan Mudjamil. However, the Barangay Captain today is no longer Aksan Mudjamil but his son. It was the BLGU officials led by Aksan Mudjamil that the school returned again to its original site through the initiative of Mussah A. Arabain Head Teacher 3 of Panglima Ahajan Elementary School and the TIC of the school. Geo-tagging report made Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi decide for its homecoming from the playground of Panglima Ahajan ES for more than a decade. Its relocation was due to peace and order prevailing in Barangay Karawan those days.
The educational adventure team was composed of PSDS Moore, Alyasir A. Hussam, TIC of Poblacion Elementary School, Faijal I. Andan, TIC of Sapah Malawm-Sapie Primary Schools, Nagdar U. Sasapan, TIC of Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi-Panglima Misuari Primary Schools, Naser L. Assil, District Property Custodian and Marjin J. Madjirul, Teacher I of the school. The team rode their motorcycles from ISD Office while Nagdar and Marjin waited for them in Panglima Misuari PS. PSDS Sam, Alyasir and Naser left the district office at around 9:00 in the morning. The PSDS was in one RS XRM motor with Alyasir. As they reached Panglima Misuari PS, Nagdar guided the team eastward of the road tracing the pathway towards his newly-organized classes from Kindergarten to Grade 3 in Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi PS. The PSDS made a time keeper to know how many minutes for them to reach the school. According to his wristwatch that the distance was just 25-minute travel by motorcycle from Panglima Misuari PS to Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi PS.
PSDS Moore made a room-to-room photography over the learners and volunteer teachers handling Kindergarten to Grade 3 as cooperating teachers of Nagdar and Marjin. He also took pictures with supportive parents residing in the vicinity of the school. A group photos were taken in the old 2-classroom school building that immediately needs major repair for the conducive learning environment of the students.
Sir Sam motivated those volunteer teachers to accomplish some pertinent papers in preparation for the conduct of TACE, Teaching Demo and Interview by the DepED-ARMM Regional Office someday. He said that a teacher should remain noble one regardless of employment status. Teacher should see to it (Students) that they would be the real model for their learners instead of their parents. Sir Moore encouraged the teachers to use Facebook social media as one of the means of reporting and updating all concerned in a sense that education is everybody's business.
The PSDS also took shots in an area where Gulayan sa Paaralan of Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi PS should be cultivated. Parents were encouraged to help school children grow various kinds of vegetables in the school. AAI President strongly suggested maluuggay should planted along the area of the garden plots. The TIC of the school, Nagz Sasapan was already friend with Albert Santoli in Facebook Website. Bro. AL also committed to donate P 6,000,00 for the rehabilitation of the old school building but PSDS Sam asked him to just keep it until the local residents would be able to save money as their initial counterpart to match with AAI (Asisa America Initiative).
Before the PSDS started to ride at the back of Alyasir in his RS, 2 supportive parents caught his attention and made him get off the motor for some shots via his Samsung Galaxy A5 2016. They were so busy with their tools and bolos in yielding the lumbers for seating facilities of the school children.
Leaving Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Primary School and reaching Sapie Primary School
It was almost lunch time when the team arrived at Sapie Primary School headed by TIC, Faijal I. Andan. This school is the furthest school westward of Indanan South District while Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Primary School is the furthest school of ISD eastward. It was a second time visit of the PSDS to Sapie Primary School. No Supervisor had been in this school since before except Sir Moore. Likewise, Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Primary School had never been visited personally by those days' supervisors except Sir Sam that visited it for the very first time.
Sir Sam asked Ma'am Nurjaina F. Yusop to fetch those learners already home in the nearby area of the school for pictures taking with the team. Nurjaina is really a veteran teacher of Sapie PS living in Barangay Bud Taran, more or less 3 kilometers away from the school. She handles Grades 1 and 2 while the TIC handles Kindergarten classes in the morning before he proceeds to his main campus, Sapah Malawm Primary School for Administrative and Instructional Supervision.
Departure from Sapie Primary School and
Arrival at Kuppong Elementary School, Indanan North District
The Educational Adventure Team decided to pass by Kuppong Elementary School headed by TIC, Zenaida B. Mohammad Nur, one of the school heads of Indanan North District supervised by Dr. Garcia B. Paradji. The school is not under Sir Moore but he wanted to use the Barangay Road of Kuppong in proceeding to Langpas Elementary School.
