How Students Look Like With GMRC

In those days, DepED prescribed character education as one of the subjects in the school. As years went by, character building activity or values education replaced it. Later, change again came in to become good manners and right conduct. Time again changed it to character education. In the advent of K to 12, ESP (Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao) holistically sums up for the values formation and good conduct or character of the learners.

Character formation among students was the target of having school subject in classroom instructions as specified in Character Education, Character Building Activity, Values EducationGMRC and Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao. These are almost similar in terms of expectations, goals and objectives among pupils. DepED has not left nor forsaken competencies that build character formation among students.

How do we describe respectful students? Is it politeness or courtesy? Teacher is a role model in and out of the classroom. Is teacher showing politeness or courtesy to the learners especially in the lower grades? Is teacher using the following courteous expressions inside or outside of the classroom.
