Also discussed thoroughly in the 1-Day November DLF last November 29, 2017 was the 4-Day District Enhancement Seminar/Workshop Clinic and Accreditation for Coaching and Officiating at Pasil Elementary School, Pasil, Indanan, Sulu from December 18-21, 2017 with a theme: "PROMOTING PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SHOOL SPORTS: EFFECTIVE COACHING AND OFFICIATING". Training Matrix prepared by the Sulu Sports Association (SSA) served as the reference of PSDS, school heads and other participants in DLF. Tony K. Asanji, President of SSA delivered to ISD Office the said matrix last November 28, 2017.

ISD ICT Coordinator Discusses the Mode of Monthly Reports Submission

The ISD ICT Coordinator, Sharfia Mharrojheanne A. Alih was on official travel when the conference with division planning office personnel occurred last November 18, 2017. Cmdr. H-man and the Caretaker of the District represented her. Accordingly, the conference was about the submission of monthly report specifically SF4 and Form 3. It was supposedly presented by Nagdar U. Sasapan. Unfortunately, he was not around because he tried to catch up the renewal of his PRC license before CPD (Continuing Professional Development) requirement would be implemented on December 1, 2017.

The Boy Scout Coordinator Speaks on the Conduct of Joint Boys and Girls Scout District Jamboree

One of the discussants in the November DLF (District Learning Forum) conducted at ISD Office last November 29, 2017 was Alnasvier I. Abduljalil, ISD Coordinator on Boys Scout. He gave updates on what he consulted with the Sulu boys and girls scout official about the possibility of the joint conduct of both boys and girls scout jamboree in the Indanan South District.

Palace releases Proclamation No. 269, declaring the holidays for 2018 @gmanews. KAR (Knowing Applying Reasoning is the newly-prescribed TOS (Table Of Specification) introduced by DepED in the advent of K to 12 Curriculum. This was a PowerPoint presentation of Alnasvier I. Abduljalil in the echo training workshop in the Indanan South District as he returned from a workshop he attended in Zamboanga City conducted by DepED-ARMM in partnership with BEAM-ARMM.

Nurhusin A. Gonzales Participates in 6th ASEAN Jamboree

One of the Boys Scouters, Nurhussin A. Gonzales participates in the 6th ASEAN Boys Scout Jamboree held in Energy Park, Apolcom, Tagum City. He is son of Nur-aisha A. Gonzales, Elementary School Principal I of Kasambuhan Village Elementary School, Indanan South District. It was posted by his mother in Facebook social medial last September 12, 2017. Their departure from Zamboanga City would be tomorrow; the date of the activity is from November 27 to December 2, 2017.

Prof. Albert M. Santoli Sends 6 Cartoons of Books to ISD

Last Friday, November 24, 2017, Sharifa Mharrojheanne A. Alih, ISD-AAI Coordinator fetched 6 cartoons of books from storage of Sulu State College Lab High and transported to Indanan South District Office via tamaraw vehicle.

SSA President Finally Convene with ISD on Training Workshop for Coaches and Officiating Officials

At the ISD Booth 2017, November 9, 2017, the ISD school officials and other personnel finally decided with the President of Sulu Sports Association, Tony K. Asanji, Secondary School Principal of Indanan National High School over the proposed conduct of the 4-Day District Enhancement Training Workshop for Coaches and Officiating Officials with theme: "PROMOTING PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SCHOOL SPORTS: EFFECTIVE COACHING AND OFFICIATING". After the informal talks with the SSA President, Supersam disseminated the decisions to all school heads of the Indanan South District schools. This proposal came into formal plan with the SSA in reference to the issues and concerns of all school heads and some sports officials brought about last DLF (District Learning Forum) held in the ISD Office last October 27, 2017.

Status of ISD Athletes in SPAAM 2017

Indanan South District received only two trophies during the awarding program of SPAAM 2017 last November 11, 2015. However, it was a great recognition for the ISD when her lawn tennis girls (double) got the over-all champion title from Jolo Delegation for the first time. The players came from Kasambuhan Village Elementary School headed by Nur-aisha A. Gonzales, Elementary School Principal - I and coached by Karna H. Abdusaid. Jolo Delegation was unbeatable in lawn tennis for many years in SPAAM. Selected athletes to ARMMAA in terms of lawn tennis were always from Jolo Delegation composed of Jolo 1, Jolo 2, Jolo 3 and Jolo 4 Districts. This year's SPAAM 2017, Jolo was still over-all champion in lawn tennis boys.

DCP Inspection Team Validates 13 Schools for Unenergized Schools Program

 

Last Novembeer 13, 2017, the DepED-Sulu Computerization Program Inspection Team visited Indanan South District Office for coordination with the district head or caretaker, Nagdar U. Sasapan, TIC of Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Elementary School, for and in the absence of PSDS Moore. The team from Tabang Sulu was headed by Albar "Boy" Adjing, Moreno Ahajan and 2 female personnel of Tabang Sulu.

ISD in SPAAM 2017 Kick-off Parade

Based on the Order of Parade in the program of SPAAM 2017, Indanan South District was in-between of Indanan North District and Notre Dame for Girls Department (Kasanyangan). However, it appeared next to Jolo Delegation due to congested assembly area and lack of committee members on parade. PSDS Moore tried to talk with Indanan North District PESS Coordinator for the proper arrangement as the parade reached Nelsan but the PESS Coordinator strongly suggested to continue the existing arrangement.

7th Indanan South District Meet

It started in 2012 at Pagnlima Indanan Central School, Licup, Indanan, Sulu. In 2013, ISD Meet was held at Pasil Elementary School Playground upon the request of former municipal mayor, Saripuddin "Eddih" D. Jikiri. It continued until this year, 2017 which was the 7th Indanan South District Meet. Venue of ISDM does not mean permanent in Pasil Elementary School. It depends on the request of those schools having enough space to host the ceremony. For two consecutive years, ISDM was participated by 5 sports units unifying the 15 elementary schools and 3 primary schools of Indanan South District.

Champion in the Division Search for Most Outstanding Teachers 2017: Anariza J. Hussam

Anariza J. Hussam, Grade 6 Adviser in Panglima Indanan Central School headed by TIC, Andrada M. Asid ranked champion in the Division Search for Most Outstanding Teachers 2017 conducted at DepED-Conference Hall from September 25-27, 2017. DepED-Sulu Division Panel recognized 5 winning participants out of 12 nominees coming from the different districts and secondary schools. 1st Runner was awarded to Jolo 3 District; 2nd Runner Up was given to Jolo 4 District; 3rd Runner Up was entitled to Jolo 1 District; and 4th Runner Up was received by Pangutaran National High School.

Success Thru Training and Practice: ISDM '17 Theme

In preparation for Sulu Provincial Athletic Association Meet (SPAAM) 2017, the Indanan South District conducted 5-day training for the athletes in volleyball girls, soccer football, lawn tennis boys and girls and badminton boys and girls in the school playground where most of the athletes in said sports events come from. The training started on October 31 to November 4, 2017. The trainers in volleyball girls were Nagdar U. Sasapan, TIC of Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Elementary School and Annex and Naser L. Assil, District Property Custodian; Hji. Murphy B. Immid was in soccer football; Jurmainna H. Hunding, Head Teacher III of Bunot Elementary School was in badminton boys and girls assisted by Alyasir A. Hussam, TIC of Poblacion Elementary School; and Hamir P. Halid, Teacher I of Kasambuhan Village Elementary School was in lawn tennis boys and girls.
