Four MOBE Schools Enjoy Bag Supplies from AAI

There were four MOBE schools enjoyed bag supplies from Asia America Initiative distributed last May, 2015. Albert Santoli, President of AAI requested the DIC, Samoore S. Ladjahali to localize MOBE which means Model of Bayanihan Education as the title of AAI recipient schools in Luzon and Visayas. He instructed the District In-Charge to give similar meaning of the acronym using Bahasa Sug mother tongue of the people of Sulu. So, the DIC indigenized it into Model of Bawgbug Education which was also approve AA President after elucidating what ‘bawgbug’ implies in relation to bayanihan. MOBE schools of AAI comprises the following elementary schools:

1. Kasambuhan Village Elementary School headed by Nur-aisha A. Gonzales, Principal - I and located at Km. 4, Tagbak, Indanan, Sulu
2. Timbangan Elementary School headed by TIC, Masdida M. Sarabi, Teacher - II and situated at Km. 6, Timbangan, Indanan, Sulu
3. Poblacion Elementary School headed by TIC, Alyasir A. Hussam, Teacher - I and sited at Km. 12, Poblacion, Indanan, Sulu
4. Pasil Elementary School headed by Faisal A. Kadil, Head Teacher - III and stood at Km. 15, Pasil, Indanan, Sulu

DA Head Presides the Coordination Meeting of 7 Piloted Schools for Gulayan sa Paaralan

Head of the Department of Agriculture in Sulu, Ms. Mercia Salarda Alli presided the Coordination Meeting of seven piloted schools for Gulayan sa Paaralan at DA Multi-Purpose, Capitol Site, Bangkal, Patikul, Sulu this morning, June 30, 2015 at around 9: 00 AM. Gulayan sa Paaralan has just been implemented in the following seven schools in partnership with DepED, Asia Amaerica Initiative (AAI) and Department of Agriculture:

1. Sulu State College High School
2. Mindanao State University High School
3. Sahaya Integrated School
4. Jose Godinez Elementary School
5. Kasambuhan Village Elementary School
6. Mukammali Elementary School
7. Pasil Elementary School

Kasambuhan Village ES Receives 60 Pieces of Bag from AAI

Kasambuhan Village Elementary School headed by Nur-aisha A. Gonzales, Principal - I received sixty pieces of bag from Asia America Initiative headed by President Albert Santoli last May, 2015. KVES is the oldest recipient school of AAI in Indanan South District as witnessed by the District In-Charge, Samoore S. Ladjahali. Nur-aisha A. Gonzales, the school principal made the distribution of bag in a first-come-first-server basis to avoid jealousy among the incoming enrollees of Kasambuhan Village Elementary School. Since May, 2015 was the season for the conduct of Brigada Eskwela, she gave priority to the learners whose parents were in much participation and involvement in the implementation of the six-day Brigada Eskwela 2015. Those school children were greatly coming from Kindergarten and Grade 1 pupils who were officially enrolled in KVES.

School is Permanent; Administrator is Temporary

School is permanent. It may accommodate thousands and even million of school heads, administrators or managers. It continues to exist in its school site so long as this world exists, too. End of the world is unpredictable. Similarly, end of the school is mysterious to every school administrators. In elementary for instance, learners or students just stay for seven years. Afterwards, students, whether they like or not have to leave the school and proceed to the next level of school which is the secondary school and so on until they reach tertiary school. Four to five years will be the end of learners' stay in the school. There is no better place for the accommodation of the seekers of knowledge than the school. It may serve like a refinery for the teachers to sharpen student's consciousness. Thus, the government spends much money, efforts and time for the establishment of school in every barangay, municipality, province, region and the nation as a whole so that every child is catered in response to the principle of EFA (Education For All). Every year, the government expects children to enter the schools in any levels of education.

Mukammali ES is the 6th Piloted School for AAI-DA Gulayan sa Paaralan Program

Mukammali Elementary School  headed by Melda I. Adug, Head Teacher - III was the sixth piloted school for Asia America Initiative-Depratment of Agriculture Gulayan sa Paaralan Program. The District In-Charge suggested Mukammali Elementary School while Mercia S. Alli, Head of the Department of Agriculture asked him for one more school in addition to Kasambuahan Village Elementary School.

"Kasambuhan Village ES was already in the list for one-day training on Gulayan sa Paaralan. One more school in your district," DA head asked.

"Mukammali ES. Make it three to include Pasil Elementary School," the DIC recommended.

"Let's have first six in that kind of approach. Pasil ES will be included in the regular program of DA Gulayan sa Paaralan," DA head justified.

Grant of Fiscal Year 2015 PEI

Grant of Fiscal Year 2015 Productivity Enhancement Incentive was concisely described by the DepED Memorandum No. 65 s. 2015 dated June 23, 2015 signed by the DepED Secretary, Brother Armin A. Luistro, FSC. Implementation was based on Executive Order No. 181 entitled Implementation of the Provisions of the FY 2915 General Appropriation Act (GAA) on the Grant of the FY 2015 Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI) to Government Employees.

Eleven School Administrators Finalize Ranking List of Teachers

Eleven school administrators stayed in the Indanan South District Office today, June 26, 2015 for the finalization of their respective Ranking List of Teachers - II, Teachers - III and Master Teacher - I. This was in compliance with the mobile messages sent by Dr. Joel A. Alamia, Sulu Division Coordinator for Araling Panlipunan per instruct of Dr. Tim J. Undain, Schools Division Superintendent. Dr. Alamia advised the District In-Charge of ISD that the said Ranking List of Teachers should be submitted on or before June 26, 2015 in response to the urgent requirement for the grant of Performance-Based Bonus (PBB).

FDS of Six Newly-deployed Teachers was Already Submitted to SDS Office Last June 17, 2015

First Day of Service of six newly-deployed teachers was already submitted to the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent, Division of Sulu, DepED-ARMM last June 17, 2015 by their respective school heads noted by the District In-Charge. The DIC received the Deployment Orders from the Office of the Plantilla Section headed by Derwina Abdula last June 16, 2015. Then he gave the Deployment Order to individual newly-hired teacher and advised them to report to their respective school where they were assigned as stated in the order signed by the DepED-ARMM Secretary and the applicant. School heads of the schools would be the one to report the FDS of the new teachers copy furnished the Regional DepED-ARMM Secretary. Listed below are the names of the newly-deployed teachers:

3. Sharifa Mharrojheane A. Alih
4. Katrina A. Julkiram

Nurhima A. Ibno and Shernalyn A. Alibbun were assigned at Mukammali Elementary School headed by Melda I. Adug, Head Teacher - III. Sharifa Mharrojheane A. Alih and Katrina A. Julkiram were assigned at Poblacion Elementary School headed by Alyasir A. Hussam, TIC. Hadzfar S. Calbi was assigned at Timbangan Elementary School headed by Masdida M. Sarabi, TIC. Alnashvier I. Abduljalil was assigned at Bunot Elementary School headed by Jurmainna H. Hunding, Head Teacher - III. 

The DIC met the newly-deployed teachers at the ISD Office this morning waiting for their hired vehicles to transport them to their respective schools. He greeted them with Assalamu alaikum and asked how were they. The newly-assigned teachers answered in chorus that they were definitely fine.

Head Teacher - III of Pasil ES & Annexes Consolidates Geo-tagging Report of ISD

Faisal "Fai" A. Kadil, Head Teacher - III of Pasil Elementary School and Annexes consolidated the geo-tagging report of all schools in Indanan South District. He was the first school head to learn the skill on geo-tagging. Hence, the District In-Charge entrusted him to conduct school-to-school photography in order to have accurate details for the urgent report on school geo-tagging. The DIC also asked favor from Alyasir A. Hussam, TIC of Poblacion Elementary School and Annex to hasten the accessibility of Faisal A. Kadil in the entire schools of Indanan South District. Faisal A. Kadil sat at the back of Alyasir A. Hussam, the expert motorcycle driver. The DIC was so proud of them for accomplishing the school-to-school geo-tagging activity in just a day.

When night came, Fai sat before his HP laptop with his Samsung mobile on his left side opened in gallery mode where the geo-tagging photos were stored. Fortunately, Fai was so expeditious reporter whom I viewed his post in Facebook. He hurriedly posted every geo-tagged photo of the different schools in Facebook website that night. He also tagged me to all images that he posted in his timeline.

To my surprise, I witnessed with my both sights the uploaded file in DOC (District Online Communications), Facebook group of ISD teachers, learners, supporters, mentors, parents, regional and division school officials and other educational stakeholders from DepEd and Non-Governmental Office who are in one way or the other in promoting quality education in the Municipality of Indanan. The file was abouth the consolidated report on schools' geo-tagging encoded in Microsoft excel. He had the consolidation form for the entire Sulu Division where he finally entered the latitude and longitude information of all schools recorded in his photo gallery. It was he who made ISD first to submit geo-tagging report to the Office of the Planning Section headed by Hja. Insih Asaari.

Geo-tagging consolidation report prepared by Fai caused this blog to appear online for record purposes of ISD. The DIC was so grateful and proud of his administrative responsibility as school head. His work was captured into a photo-like image done through snipping tool for clarity and brightness to display in the bloggers site of ISD.

Viewers of this blog might wonder why Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Primary School and Sapie Primary School did not show their latitude and longitude calculation because of their distance from the main road during the conduct of school-to-school geo-tagging journey of Fai and Ya'. Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Primary School is located in Barangay Karawan based on its original site. It has been relocated; however; to Barangay Panabuan since many years ago for the reason of unstable peace and order circumstances in its original location. Temporarily, this primary school lies in the campus of its main school, the Panglima Ahajan Elementary School headed by Mussah A. Arabain, Head Teacher - III. Mussah A. Arabain is still in planning for the relocation of Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi again into nearby area of Barangay Karawan so that this primary school would be captured with geo-tagged photos.

In case of Sapie Primary School, annex of Langpas Elementary School headed by Hja. Nalda J. Muksan, ESHT - III, Fai and Ya' were not able to reach there in so far as its location in the far-flung area was concerned. Proper coordination with the Barangay Headman should be made first before an activity like geo-tagging could be started. In-Charge of the geo-tagging work just briefed Hja. Nalda A. Muksan on the skill of geo-tagging then it's up for her to schedule for the capturing of geo-tagged photos in her annex. Sapie Primary School is located in the center of Barangay Paligue which is very exposed place to the situation of family feud, grudge and other forms of conflict.

The DIC has already phoned the Regional Planning personnel about the conditions of the two primary schools. He requested to wait for some possible time for the geo-tagging reports of the two primary schools. Jonathan Omar, personnel of the Regional Planning approved the DIC's request provided it could be made within the month of June.

Timbang Iwasto sa Tamang Nutrisyon at Ehersisyo

The theme for this year's Nutrition Month Celebration is "TIMBANG IWASTO SA TAMANG NUTRISYON AT EHERSIYO". The National Nutrition Council (NCC) will lead the 2015 National Nutrition Month Celebration this July, 2015 focusing on addressing the issue of being overweight and obese among Filipinos. This has reference to DepED Memorandum No. 62 s. 2015 dated June 17, 2015.

The celebration aims to:

1. Increase awareness on the role and importance of proper nutrition and physical activity in the of being overweight and obese among general public
2. Encourage Filipinos to make positive decisions towards consumption of healthy diets and be physically active to prevent non-communicable diseases as a result of being overweight and obese
3. Encourage communities, national and local governments, non-government organization, private sector, media, the academe and other stakeholders to put in place an enabling environment, which promotes proper nutrition and physical acativity among Filipinos to prevent being overweight and obese. 

MYDev Needs Four OSY Surveyors

Mindanao Yourth for Development (MYDev) needs at least four four surveyors to locate out-of-school-youth residents in some barangays of Indanan Municipality, which are not yet included in the nine barangays focused by MYDev Program under Phase - I Implementation. The source of this information was from MYDev Coordinator, Khanhar Abdulmoin assigned in Indanan, Sulu. Khanhar Abdulmoin used mobile call to the District In-Charge last June 17, 2015.

"At least Sir, they are education graduates. Submit four names with contact CP number," MYDev Coordinator prescribed to the DIC.

Teachers were most priority in the contract financed by MYDev. Selected teachers or education graduates would be provided with training in Garden Orchid, Camins Road, Zamboanga City soon. Applicants should have mobile number for MYDev to contact them anytime when the training comes approaching. MYDev would shoulder their traveling expenses from their respective residence to the training venue and vice versa plus their lodging or accommodation in the hotel.

Alyasir A. Hussam Updates Teachers on New Grading System and Class Record in K to 12

Alyasir A. Hussam, TIC of Poblacion Elementary School and Annex updated Indanan South District teachers on the New Grading System and New Class Record in the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum during the conduct of 1-Day District Post Conference at Timbangan Elementary School GEM Multi-Purpose, Timbangan, Indanan, Sulu last June 16, 2015. He based his lecture from DepED Order No. 8 s. 2015 dated April 1, 2015 entitled 'Policy Guidelines on Classroom Assessment for the K to 12 Basic Education Program. DepED Order No. 8 s. 2015 amended the implementation of KPUP (Knowledge, Process, Understanding, Product) as the basis for the computation or rating of pupil's performance specifically grades that shall appear in the report card. 

Faisal A. Kadil Lectures on SLAC

Faisal A. Kadil, Head Teacher - III of Pasil Elementary School and Annexes lectured on newly-modified School-based Learning Action Cell in the last part of the 1-Day District Post Conference held at Timbangan Elementary School GEM Multi-Purpose, Timbangan, Indanan, Sulu last June 16, 2015. Bases of his presentation was DepED Order No. 12 s. 2015 dated April 10, 2015 entitled 'Guidelines on the Early Language, Literacy and Numeracy Program: Professional Development Component' and the handouts given during LAC Implementation Planning Workshop attended by District In-Charge in Astoria Plaza, Escrva Drive, Pasig City from May 19-21, 2015.

School Heads Demonstrate Innovative Feedbacking

Most of the school heads of Indanan South District demonstrated innovative way of feedbacking during the conduct of 1-Day District Post Conference held at Timbangan Elementary School GEM Multi-Purpose, Timbangan, Indanan, Sulu last June 16, 2015. It was critically instituted in response to the findings discovered during the 1-Day District Team Visitation in the entire eleven elementary schools of ISD, Indanan, Sulu spearheaded by the District Commissioner, Dr. Alvarez A. Salaton, Principal - II with the assistance of the District In-Charge, Samoore S. Ladjahali, Principal - I last June 8, 2015.

DIC: Alhamdulillah, Enrolled

The District In-Charge of Indanan South District was feeling delighted as he enrolled for Comprehensive Examination in Graduate School, Notre Dame of Jolo College, Jolo, Sulu last Monday, June 15, 2015. He visited first the Office of the Dean of Graduate School where he was advised to proceed to the Office of the Registrar for evaluation. The Dean gave him copy of clearance through the Dean's Secretary that should be signed by the authorized personnel in in the Office of Finance, Head of the Library, College's Registrar and finally the Dean of the Graduate School.

Alhamdulillah, the Registrar approved DIC's plan for Compre Exam enrollment after critical evaluation of all the subjects and number of units taken under academic subjects prescribed for MAED course or program. Completed academic learning areas, units and grades are reflected in the thumbnail photo below.

RM Order Calls for Official Time During Ramadhan 2015

Regional Memorandum Order No. 362 calls all line agencies, bureaus and offices under Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) for the observance of Modified Official Time during the Holy Month of Ramadhan 2015. It was release last June 18, 2015 signed by Atty. Laisa Masuhud Alamia, Regional Governor's Executive Secretary.

Under paragraph 1 of the RMO, official time is from 7:30 in the morning up to 3:30 in the afternoon. There shall be no 'noon break'. 

However, employees who are not in the observance of fasting during the holy month of Ramadhan are not entitled to the said RMO. 

AAI Staff Conducts Assessment in MOBE Schools

President of Asia America Initiative, Albert Santoli designated one Staff in Sulu Chapter destined at the Office of Health and Nutrition Section, DepED-Sulu Division, Jolo, Sulu. She is Rohelyn S. Ahaja. As instructed by AAI President, she conducted observational assessment in the entire MOBE (Model Of Bawgbug Education) schools under Sulu Division. 

In ISD, there are five MOBE schools under the educational support of AAI, namely: 1. Kasambuhan Village Elementary School; 2. Timbangan Elementary School; 3. Bunot Elementary School; 4. Poblacion Elementary School; and 5. Pasil Elementary School. Similarly, there are two school officials who are members of AAI Education Committee. They are Samoore S. Ladjahali, the ISD In-Charge and Alyasir A. Hussam, Documenters and TIC of Poblacion Elementary School and Annex.

Nine Teachers Join Oath Taking in PRC

Last week of June, 2015 at Zamboanga City, there were nine (9) LET-passer teachers from Indanan South District joined the mass oath taking in Professional Regulation Commission Office. The District In-Charge and their respective school heads excused those LET-passer teachers from the observance of their classes while they were in PRC for their licensure transactions. LET-passer teachers in 2015 were in two categories, provisional teachers and volunteer teachers. There were five passers from provisional teachers and four passers from volunteer teachers whose names are enumerated below with their corresponding schools where they rendered teaching services.

One Teacher is Re-assigned to Langpas Elementary School

One teacher is re-assigned to Langpas Elementary School headed by Hja. Nalda J. Muksan, Head Teacher. Nur-ina M. Abubakar, Provisional Teacher and Grade 3 Adviser in Panglima Indanan Central School headed by TIC, Andrada M. Asid, Teacher - III was delighted to know the order of her re-assignment. Her re-allignment was approved on the basis of her request for transfer to Langpas ES located at her native place, Barangay Langpas. Her letter of application for transfer was properly endorsed by Andrada M. Asid and the District In-Charge. It had been almost two years that Nur-ina M. Abubakar asked favor from the DIC to grant endorsement for her release from Panglima Indanan CS to her preferred school. Since her request was verval, the DIC also answered her verbally to wait for the appropriate time to come.

MDRRMC and DDRRMC Plan for Immediate Actions

In the morning of June 11, 2015, the District In-Charge called a short meeting with all the members of the District Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council right after the strategic preparation for the incoming conduct of district post conference. Faisal A. Kadil, Head Teacher - III of Pasil Elementary School and Annexes is the Coordinator for DDRRMC as previously suggested by the Schools Division Superintendent. The brief meeting aimed to coordinate the Municipal Risk Reduction Management Council in connection with the encounter between the Philippine Army and the lawless group occurred in Tamban-Tamban, sitio of Barangay Bud Taran near Langpas Elementary School. The DDRRMC team expected residents of Barangay Langpas to evacuate to Barangay Poblacion in a sense that classes of Langpas Elementary School was disrupted before lunch time of the same day. The DIC advised Alyasir A. Hussam, TIC of Poblacion Elementary School and Annex to monitor the situation and prepared the classrooms for evacuees.

DIC Receives Six Deployment Orders

The District In-Charge received six deployment orders from the Office of Division Plantilla Section headed by Derwina Abdula last June 17, 2015. Out of six newly-hired teachers deployed to Indanan South District, only three of them render volunteer service in ISD. They are Shernalyn A. Alibbun, Volunteer Teacher in Mukammali Elementary School, Alnashvier I. Abduljalil, Volunteer Teacher in Kasambuhan Village Elementary School and Hadzfar Calbi, Volunteer Teacher in Timbangan Elementary School. The other three are newcomers.

Hji. Hamsi Supplies Bag to All Kindergarten Learners

"I have prepared one thousand pieces of bag for Kindergarten learners of Indanan South District and Indanan North District," Hji. Amsi Hamsiraji, one of the richmen in Km. 2, Indanan, Sulu confirmed to the District In-Charge.

"I presented the plan to the Indanan Municipal School Board to have partnership with. For instance if you have 100 pieces of bag, the IMSB should match it then both of you would go hand in hand for the supplies in all kindergarten classes of ISD schools," DIC told Hji. Hamsi.

DIC: We'll Develop It into ISD Teachers Band

"Utu' Muks, we'll develop it into Indanan South District Teeachers Band," the District In-Charge suggested to Alyasir A. Hussam, TIC of Poblacion Elementary School and Annex.

"Yes, Sir. Ma'am Fina could be the rhythm while I am in the bass and Adzmier in the keyboard," Alyasir positively responded.

Ma'am Peh: Why Do You Not Invite Me as Observer

"Why do you not invite me as observer?," seriously asked by Ma'am Pilar, Education Program Supervisor for English.

"Right, Ma'am! This is what I do. I will write request to the SDS for the approval of your presence in our post conference," the DIC replied.

Thursday's Encounter Causes Disruption of Classes in Langpas ES

At around 10:30 in the morning of June 11, 2015, an encounter between government troops and lawless group occurred in Tamban-Tamban sitio of Barangay Bud Taran, Indanan, Sulu after launching offensive military operation started from Barangay Bato-Bato and Barangay Kuppong. Langpas Elementary School headed by Hja. Nalda J. Muksan, Head Teacher - III is just about one and a half kilometers away from the area of the encounter. Langpas Elementary School is the furthest school of Indanan South District towards west. It was during sharing and discussion over the preparation of 1-Day District Post Conference at ISD Office, Km. 2, Kajatian, Indanan, Sulu when one of the teachers from Mukammali Elementary School called on her school head, Melda I. Adug, Head Teacher - III informing her about the incident and requesting the hired tamaraw vehicle should immediately fetch Langpas Elementary School teachers before escalation of the conflict would take place. Mukammali Elementary School teachers are in the same hired tamaraw with Langpas Elementary School teachers from Jolo and vice versa in time of reporting to their respective stations from Monday to Friday,

ISD School Administrators Prepare Innovative Conduct of Post Conference

The District In-Charge spearheaded the eleven school heads of Indanan South District how District Post Conference would be prepared with innovative conduct and more commitment-driven rather than telling repeatedly what went wrong. It was a half-day gathering equipped with bloody discussions, sharing, suggestions and thought-provoking queries between the DIC and the school managers. The half-day forum was held at ISD Office, Km. 2, Indanan, Sulu last June 11, 2015. It started with review on the different data collected during the 1-day district school visitation to the entire eleven elementary schools last June 8, 2015, There was projector and screen for data presentation. Faisal A. Kadil, Head Teacher - III of Pasil Elementary School and Annexes and Alyasir A. Hussam, TIC of Poblacion Elementary School and Annex acted as encoders and documenters during the discussions. What made the cell bloody was the feedbacking for the data gathered. Every school head agreed with one another to give feedbacking model in a different way as usually done in the previous years.

Four Elementary Schools are First to Designate CI Rooms/Corners

Palan Elementary School, Panglima Indanan Central School, Panglima Ahajan Elementary School and Poblacion Elementary School are first to designate Continuous Improvement (CI) rooms or corners as inspected by the District In-Charge last school visitation, June 8, 2015. These four schools have already displayed their CI team charts on the wall of the rooms. Other CI documents were also found in the rooms or corners. Palan Elementary School is headed by Dr. Hja. Sarah Y. Hayudini, Principal - I; Panglima Indanan Central School is headed by TIC, Andrada M. Asid; Panglima Ahajan Elementary School is headed by Mussah A. Arabain, Head Teacher - III; and Poblacion Elementary School is headed by TIC, Alyasir A. Hussam.

District Team Visitation Last for One Day

District Team Visitation to the entire eleven elementary schools of Indanan South District, Indanan, Sulu lasted only for one day. District Commissioner, Dr. Alvarez A. Salaton, P-II and District In-Charge, Samoore S. Ladjahali spearheaded the eleven school administrators that composed the team visitation last June 8, 2015. Supposedly, the team approximated its completion for two days. However, they divided the tasks among themselves and managed their time wisely in every school for at least twenty minutes to gather the data needed. School visitation started with nearest school to furthest school as shown below.

PNP and BFP Join the Brigada Eskwela 2015

For the first in the history of Indanan South District schools, the Philippine National Police joined the conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2015 of Panglima Mammah Elementary School headed by School Caretaker and Master Teacher - I, Josefina S. Ajijul. Both policemen and policewomen sincerely offered their services in connection with Brigada Eskwela. In the past years, the Philippine National Police just safeguarded the teachers especially in time of volatile peace and order situation. Their mobile jeep was always in front of the teachers' convoy whenever threat among teachers happened. They escorted the teachers' vehicle to their respective schools in the morning and then they also did it in the afternoon when teachers were about to go home for Jolo from Monday to Friday. This manner lasted for months particularly in Panglima Mammah Elementary School whose tragic happening for teachers' hired tamaraw happened last March 10, 2015 that caused the fatality of Panglima Mammah ES teachers' driver. The Philippine National Police of Indanan really contributed much for the conduct of graduation exercises 2014 of Panglima Mammah ES. Likewise, the opening of classes in June, 2015 ran smoothly because of the security and safety provided by the PNP for the teachers. 

Philippine Marines Expands Programs and Services for School Children in ISD

The Philippine Marines initiates programs for school children in some schools of Indanan South District, Indanan, Sulu. ISD only expected them in the conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2015 based on the dialogue agreed between the District In-Charge, Samoore S. Ladjahali with Sgt. Pareno at the ISD Office, Km. 2, Kajatian, Indanan, Sulu last May 13, 2015. Admittedly yes, the Philippines Marines has already offered school services since many years ago but it was limited to the request of the schools near their camps or detachment particularly in Bud Datu, Indanan, Sulu. For instance, Panglima Mammah Elementary School located by the roadside of Barangay Tagbak, Indanan, Sulu is so close to Bud Datu. Thus, the school enjoyed the programs and services below from the Philippines Marines due to the legitimate relationship of the former principal to the soldiers in Bud Datu where her son-in-law was also assigned there.

DIC: We Learn a Lot from Sir Dr. Alvarez A. Salaton

The District In-Charge is in a constrant self-reflection what has already happened in Indanan South District during his time. Reign of District Commissioner, Sir Dr. Alvarez A. Salaton, P - II caught DIC's attention. He began in ISD on January, 2013 designated by Division Memorandun to proclaim graduates batch 2012-2013. It was a school year when former DepED-ARMM Secretary, Hon. Atty. Jamar M. Kulayan also attended the clustered graduation exerceise in Pasil Elementary School and Panglima Indanan Central School. 

ISD Sends Six School Administrators to Seminars Conducted Outside Sulu for this Year's 2015

First, it was in Alnor Hotel, Cotabato City from February 19-20, 2015 when a Regional Memorandum called for the participation of the DIC and Hja. Nalda J. Muksan, Head Teacher - III of Langpas Elementary School and Annex. It was a 2-Day Planning Workshop in preparation for the DepED-ARMM CI (Continuous Improvement) Benchmarking Activity to NCR, CALABARZON, Region IV and Central Luzon. Every divsion was chosen with at least two participants. Qualification of the participants was at least NQESH passers and DSLP graduates of SEAMEO-Innotech; consequently; DIC and Hja. Nalda J. Muksan were carefully selected to represent Sulu Division. 

Asec Noor Saada Turns-over Programs Portfolio to Asec for Academics

DepED-ARMM Secretary has two Asecs for Operations and Finance and for Programs and Projects which was occupied by Sir Asec Noor Saada. Before, Asec Atty. Maisara Damdamun Latiph sat in the Office of Asec for Programs and Projects while Asec Noor Saada was an Asec for Operations and Finance. Then Asec Noor Saada got the position after resignation of Asec Atty. Maisara D. Latiph. Turn-over of Asec Atty. Maisarara Latip to Asec Noor Saada was made in Pinnacle Hotel, Davao City during our seminar on Program Implementation Review and Planning Workshop last December, 2013. So, the vacant position was Asec for Operations and Finance which was later occupied by Dr. John A. Magno who is now the DepED-ARMM Secretary.

Poblacion TIC: How Happy the Children are in the First Week of Classes

Alyasir “Muks” A. Hussam is a TIC (Teacher In-Charge) of Poblacion Elementary School and Annex, Manilop Primary School. He had been TIC of group schools, Dayuan PS and Manilop PS before the DIC transferred him to handle Poblacion ES when Kerwin C. Asid turned-over Panglima Indanan CS to Sitti Palman I. Mohammad, Principal of Poblacion ES.

Poblacion ES and Annex was the first school to post photos of undertakings done during the conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2015. More sectors participated in the preparation of school for the opening of classes on June 1, 2015 compared to previous years. It involves Philippines Marines or MBLT 10, youth, BLGU officials, parents and learners.

Faisal "Fai" A. Kadil: Only Two Schools Remain not Geo-tagging

Faisal "Fai" A. Kadil, Head Teacher - III of Pasil Elementary School and Annexes possesses guided expertise on school geo-tagging. The DIC assigned him to assist school heads in geo-tagging schools in ISD with the company of Alyasir A. Hussam, TIC of Poblacion ES and Annex. Alyasir "Utu' Muks" A. Hussam offered his service as a motorcycle driver of Faisal A. Kadil so that school-to-school geo-tagging would be finished in one day in response to the ASAP submission requested through text message by Sir Jonathan of the regional office, ARMM. Sir Fai and Utu' Muks commenced their geo-tagging journey today, June 4, 2015.

CI: The Making Comes Soon

The Legend Villas Hotel, Mandaluyong City, Philippines was the first venue of the scene. DepED-ARMM officials starred the Benchmarking Activity on CI (Contiunuous Imrpovement) methodology implemented in the schools somewhere in NCR (Nacitonal Capital Region), CALAVARZON and Region IV. March 8, 2015 parked the benchmarking participants in preparation for making them all CI Champions. Crafting of CI Action Plan and validation seemed to be the bloody end of the 1-week tour to the different offices and CI schools both in and out of Metro Manila.
